John W. Link provides business and consulting expertise in engagements ranging from military agencies to entrepreneurial dot.com startups to Fortune 500 companies. He has extensive experience consulting with Intelligence, DOD and Military Service around a wide range of organizational challenges and holds a SECRET clearance. He has led strategic planning, knowledge management, and organizational redesign efforts for the Army. With Ms. Loveland Link he co-led communications and operational design for the innovative Information Sharing program, Horizontal Fusion, one of the first battlespace-to-garrison Information Technology design involving DoD, DIA, CIA, and ten other military and intelligence agencies.
Mr. Link’s business background includes banking and other financial institutions, health care, prestige automotive enterprises, and four-star hotels. As a result, he has worked successfully with turnaround situations and interim management in companies facing disaster. He is effective bringing the IT and business sides of projects together. He has expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), successfully bridging the traditional gap between customers and suppliers. He is a respected negotiator/mediator for strategic alliances and partnerships.
With an MS from the internationally-renowned George Mason University program in Conflict Management, Mr. Link brings highly-evolved capabilities in successful integration of multiple, diverse stakeholders in initiatives ranging from sensitive government emergency preparedness programs to requirements definition for software projects. He is an expert facilitator for business partnerships, public/private initiatives, joint policy development, and resolution of issues arising from mergers and acquisitions. Internally, he has guided organizations to accelerated performance in knowledge management. Mr. Link combines business, negotiation, and organizational expertise to design systems that creatively utilize rich resources of enterprise knowledge.
Jo Lee Loveland Link has an extensive background in development of organizational strategy, enterprise change, and strategy-guided improvement. With her guidance, some organizations have devised their first strategic vision; others have moved with a quantum leap from once-serviceable business plans into future-focused, opportunity positions better suited to their new environments. An important feature of her work is her ability to integrate organizational knowledge from all levels into a cohesive, aligned, and powerful enterprise strategy. Her track record of successful engagements reveals executive visions aligned with broad organizational commitment. To advance all initiatives, she targets cross-enterprise communications strategy and operations.
She was Visiting Scientist at the Carnegie-Mellon University Software Engineering Institute (SEI) for seven years. From this association, she brings expertise in risk management, change and transition, and enterprise process improvement for technical organizations. Bringing this expertise to enterprises, she has successfully generated strategic internal partnerships between business and Information Technology divisions.
Jo Lee has had extensive experience working with the Intelligence and DOD community dealing with organizational and human technical issues. She holds a TS SCI clearance.
As a certified Organization Development Consultant, Ms. Loveland Link provides capability in evolution of corporate cultures and enterprise-wide future search initiatives.
She is also a master practitioner of adult education, experiential learning, and leadership development, and has authored more than 40 original management science and organizational publications.
